故 홍호진 대표는 2007년 UNC를 설립하여 ‘What should the art provide for you’ 라는
슬로건 아래 여러 의미 있는 예술 활동을 했습니다.
그는 독일, 스페인, 프랑스 등의 해외 유명 작가와 주요 작품을 국내에 소개했습니다.
2020년에 로즈 와일리 Rose Wylie, 그리고 2022년에는 마이클 크레이그 마틴 Michael Craig Martin의 원화로만 구성된 대규모 전시를 각각 성공적으로 개최하여 높은 평을 받았습니다.

故 홍호진 대표는 예술적 실천을 교육 분야까지 확장하려는 의지를 실현하기 위해 국내 최초로 아트 기반의 기업 교육 서비스인 CREATIVE13을 2013년에 UNC 산하의 별도 기관으로 창설했습니다.
CREATIVE13은 크리에이티브와 비즈니스 마인드를 결합하여 자체 개발한 프로그램을 통해 현재까지
활발히 운영되고 있습니다.

홍호진예술재단은 암환자 및 암치료를 위한 연구에 기부활동을 해 나갈 계획입니다.
故 홍호진 대표는 암으로 타계他界하였습니다.
투병 중에도 그는 좌절하지 않고 마이클 크레이그 마틴의 전시를 감행하였습니다.
홍호진예술재단은 병마에 굴하지 않는 그의 정신을 이어 암환자들에게 힘을 보태고자 합니다.
예술을 향유하기 위해서는 건강이 우선되어야 하고, 예술의 미래를 위해서는 아이들이 잘 자라야 한다고 강조해 온 故 홍호진 대표의 신념을 따라 소아암 환자를 주력으로 지원할 것입니다.
아름다움의 추구는 미술의 영역일 뿐만 아니라 사회적 실천의 영역이기도 합니다.

director of UNC. Dmitri Hong launched UNC in 2007 and had curated various meaningful exhibitions under the slogan ‘What should the art provide for you’.
He had introduced masterpieces by internationally well-known artists from Germany, Spain, and France to Korea.
In addition, he had successfully held blockbuster exhibitions of Rose Wylie in 2020 and Michael Craig Martin in 2022. The UNC’s exhibitions especially garnered high reputation in terms of the fact that oeuvres
in the exhibitions had been displayed by original paintings.
Dmitri Hong founded CREATIVE13 as a separate agency under UNC in 2013 in order to realize
his willingness to expand artistic practice to the educational area.
It was the first art-based corporate education service in Korea.
The CREATIVE13 has been operated by its own unique programs which developed by combining
creative and business minds.
Dmitri Hong Art Foundation will continuously support art curators and cancer patients
as an artistic and cultural conduct.

Dmitri Hong Art Foundation intends to discover and promote talented curators based on the faith of the role
and influence of curation that have been proved by the practice of what director Dmitri Hong has done.
For Dmitri Hong, the curation was a conduct of establishing a field for healthy communication between art and society, instead of merely displaying artworks.
Exhibition is a place to be accomplished encounters, conversations, and practices,
and it arouses intellectual delight and emotional feeling.
Dmitri Hong Art Foundation supports curators and exhibitions with discursive, social, aesthetic capability
as an intermediary between art and the public

Dmitri Hong Art Foundation plans to donate to cancer patients and the research for cancer treatment.
Dmitri Hong passed away by cancer.
He carried out the exhibition of Michael Craig Martin during fighting against cancer.
Dmitri Hong Art Foundation keeps continuing his indomitable will and spirit
that never despair through helping cancer patients.
We concentrate on supporting pediatric cancer patients in accordance with Dmitri Hong’s belief that health should be the first priority to enjoy art, and children should grow up well for the future.
The pursuit of beauty is possible not only in the realm of art, but in social practice also
